Part 1: The Basics – Point Tracking System
Overall, AIA Vitality introduces a point tracking system to determine your effort. Altogether, there are four status that you can work towards:
- Bronze: 0 to 9,999 Points
- Silver: 10,000 to 19,999 Points
- Gold: 20,000 to 29,999 Points
- Platinum: 30,000 Points and above
In sum, you need to accumulate points in order to move towards a higher status. As a result, you will receive better rewards to that end.
Part 2: Working towards Platinum Status
On the whole, there are various activities that you can engage into to improve your membership status. Altogether, we can divide them into two categories.

Part 2.1: Know Your Health
Without a doubt, we need to know your health in order to know how to improve it. For this purpose, you will go through a series of online health assessments to this end.
Online Health Assessments
- How Healthy Are You: Up to 2,000 points a year
- How Stressed Are You: Up to 1,000 points a year
- How Well Are You Eating: Up to 1,000 points a year
- How Active Are You: Up to 1,000 points a year
- How Well Are You Sleeping: Up to 500 points a year
Total Number of Points: Earn up to 5,500 points a year
Additionally, you may also go for further health screenings in order to have a better understanding on your health. In this situation, you can get AIA Vitality points too!
Specialist Checkups
- Basic Health Screening: Up to 6,000 points
- Advanced Health Screening: Up to 3,000 points
- Dental Assessment: 1,000 points
- Nutrition Assessment: 1,000 points
- Fitness Assessment: Up to 1,500 points
- Vaccination: Up to 3,000 points
Total Number of Points: Earn up to 15,500 points a year
Part 2.2: Improve Your Health
After we have a better understanding on our health, it is time to take action to improve our fitness. In this case, you can earn to up 15,000 points for regular exercise.
Part 2.2.1: Fitness Activity
- At least 10,000 steps taken per day: Earn 50 points
- At least 30 minutes at an average heart rate > 60% of age related maximum heart rate: 50 points
- At least 60 minutes at an average heart rate > 60% of age related maximum heart rate: 100 points
- At least 30 minutes at an average heart rate > 70% of age related maximum heart rate: 100 points
- At least 30 minutes at a minimum average speed of 4km/hr: 50 points
- At least 30 minutes at a minimum average speed of 7.2km/hr: 100 points
- At least 60 minutes at a minimum average speed of 4km/hr: 100 points
In any case, take note that you will receive the higher points from one activity only. For instance, I walked 10,000 steps today (worth 50 points). Furthermore, I went for a 60 minutes run at a minimum average speed of 4km/hour (worth 100 points). In this example, I will get 100 points from today’s activity.
Part 2.2.2: Sleep Health
It is important to realise that sleep is essential to staying healthy. Therefore, AIA Vitality rewards you with points for sleeping! That’s right, for at least 7 hours of qualified sleep, you will get 5 points. Altogether, you can earn up to 1,000 points a year.
Part 2.2.3: Challenges
Occasionally, AIA Vitality may create a challenge for you.
- Challenges: Up to 6,000 Points
Part 3: Rewards with AIA Vitality
Generally, the most straightforward way to motivate a person is to give rewards. Be that as it may, AIA Vitality lines up a comprehensive suite of rewards for you.
Part 3.1: Weekly Fitness Challenge
In essence, AIA Vitality challenges you to maintain and improve your fitness level every week. In sum, your target will be between to 200 to 400 points every week. After you complete the weekly target, you get a spin on the Vitality wheel. Thereupon, you will receive Vitality coins to redeem rewards at the Marketplace. AIA Singapore offers a wide range of insurance policies to meet clients with different needs. For a selected number of policies, you get upfront cash discount or free additional coverage. As you continue to work towards a higher status, the cash discount or coverage grows with you.

Alright, I will leave this section for you to explore. This is because there are so many partners and benefits that you can enjoy by being an AIA Vitality member. For that reason, here are three of my favourites:
- 20% cash back on HealthyFoodTM purchases at Cold Storage
- Up to 20% rebates on Airfares for Singapore Airlines, or Emirates
- 2,000 Vitality coins for reaching Platinum status (equivalent to $100 at the Marketplace)
Part 4: How to join AIA Vitality?
AIA Vitality is specifically for AIA policyholders only. Therefore, you need to own an AIA insurance policy first. In addition, the membership fee costs $8 monthly. After you have downloaded the My AIA SG app,
- Tap the three lines at the top left-hand corner (Navigation bar);
- Tap AIA Vitality;
- From the dropdown menu, tap Join AIA Vitality.
Thereafter, follow the onscreen instructions to proceed with the application.
